Athletic Trainer


The athletic training coverage at Cooper High School is provided by the Institute for Athletic Medicine, which is a service of Fairview Health Services and North Memorial Health Care.

Cooper Athletic Training room is located across from the Cooper locker rooms. 
Room Hours: Monday - Friday
Fall: 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Winter: 2:00 - 5:00 pm
Spring: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
* The athletic training room will be open on Saturdays for event coverage only. 

If you should have a question about your athlete's injury after hours, please call the IAM's Athletic Medicine Hotline, 952-920-8850. The hotline is staffed 24 hours a day by a certified and registered athletic trainer who can give you advice on any question you may have regarding your student athletes injury. This is a FREE Service.  

If your student athlete is seen or treated by a doctor for an injury or serious illness, they MUST bring a written note from the doctor before they can return to practice or play in a game. This includes any injury or serious illness that occurs at or outside of school activities.

This is a Minnesota State High School league Rule (Bylaw 107.00). This is for the student's protection as well as to keep everyone informed as to the student's readiness. 
The doctor can send a note with the student or can fax it to 763-504-8686.
