A big congratulations to the Robbinsdale Debate Team for qualifying for the 2025 National Debate Tournament!
From Robbinsdale Cooper High School, students Lily Plahn and Tessa Lenoch are heading to nationals. This is Lily’s third trip to the tournament and first time qualifying in Congressional Debate. For Tessa, it’s the first time making it to nationals. Joining them is Robbinsdale Armstrong student Alison Wandmacher, making a second consecutive appearance in Congressional Debate.
Robbinsdale Cooper continues its strong tradition with this being their 17th trip to nationals in the last 23 years. Robbinsdale Armstrong is also celebrating, as this marks their eighth consecutive trip.
The National Debate and Speech Tournament will be held June 15–20 in the Des Moines, Iowa.
