Congratulations to the Robbinsdale Cooper Debate team for an amazing showing at the 2022 National Debate Tournament this summer.
Outgoing seniors Fatima Koroma and Andrew Tran were both awarded the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) Academic All-American award at Nationals. This award is given to the top 500 seniors in the nation annually for their strong performance in debate and academics.
In-coming Senior Connor Brynteson reached the Quarter-Final round in Congressional Debate. This placed Connor in the top 100 students in the nation. This was Connor's second trip and best finish thus far at nationals.
Students interested in joining the 2022-23 debate team, should come to an informational meeting on Thursday, September 8 in Cooper Room B241 at 3:35 PM.
