Cooper students place in top 20 in BestPrep Student Spotlight Competition

Three Cooper AVID 10th graders placed in the Top 20 of the BestPrep Student Spotlight Competition! Please congratulate our student winners!

The competition prompt was imagination and creativity can be tools for change. In Until the End of Time, Brian Greene takes us on a journey across time and allows us to think about what a collection of imaginative, passionate, and creative minds can do for our world.

Using written word, art, sculpture, music, theater, or another art form, students shared their thoughts on what they want the future to look like. If students had the opportunity to reimagine and create a more equitable society, what would that look like? What can we do now to get closer to the world you imagine?

Winners are invited to BestPrep's Educational Forum on Wednesday, Jan.25, and will receive their prize. These students will also have the opportunity to meet Brian Greene, a professor of Physics and Mathematics at Columbia University, best-selling author, co-founder of The World Science Festival, and a television guest on "The Big Bang Theory."
