Student Council is hosting a Spread Love Not Hate event at Cooper from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 15 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This National Day of Service will be used to learn more about what we can do as a community to support the work of Martin Luther King by learning about social issues and taking our learning to action.
Keynote speakers Melvin Carter Jr.- founder of Save our Sons and Valerie Castile- Philando Castile's Mother and founder of the Philando Castile Foundation will be speaking at the event.
Check out the student performances and breakout sessions including a question and answer session with a state representative Cedric Frazier, and more. National Service Awards will be awarded as well.
