Supporting Students with Online Learning Options

We are committed to ensuring the safety, dignity, and continued education of all our students. While our schools remain safe places for learning, we understand that some families may choose to keep students home due to safety concerns.

Cooper will be providing temporary remote/online learning and support for students with extended absences related to community safety. These protocols are in place through March 27, 2026 and may be adjusted as conditions change.

If a student needs to be absent from in-person school for an extended period of time, the district is putting into place supports for remote/online learning. Caregivers with concerns for student safety can request temporary online learning by contacting Cooper main office at 763-504-8500.

Teachers will provide access to activities and learning pathways via Schoology. Students will have the option to keep their letter grade, take a Pass/Fail or Incomplete at the end of the semester.

Students may enroll at RVA for the second semester with the expectation that they would continue there for the remainder of the school year.

Thank you for your dedication and care for our students as we navigate this difficult time.
